I had a wonderful time here at Mean Chix. The food is really tasty and fresh. The service is fast and very attentive. The ambiance is amazing too! 5 stars.

As someone who eats a lot of Nashville hot chicken, I can say with confidence that this place is so legit. Often times I like certain things from each chicken place, sometimes it the seasoning sometimes the sauce. But rarely is everything on point for me. This place checked all the boxes. Good portion sizes. Excellent season blend on the dry rub. I want to take a bath in the sauce. The pickles are awesome. One of the best parts was the service. I think it was the owner, so attentive and kind. Genuinely wanted feedback. I really liked the location in the plaza. Plenty of outdoor shaded seating. This place was a win for us. Can't wait to go back.

Mean Chix offers some of the finest Nashville Halal hot chicken. The service was exceptional, with a fantastic staff and delicious food. While the chicken is a favorite, don't miss out on the chicken tacos and fried pickles. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who shared inspiring stories of starting the business. Learning form owners is what keeps us coming to these restaurants.

Tasty and juicy halal style chicken, amazing lightning fast service and plenty of space to eat inside and outside. Ambiance is perfect for one person, multiple people. If you're really hungry go for the 2 slider combo. If you want the best bang for your buck get the tenders. Fried pickles are so damn good. 10/10

These chicken sandwiches blew me away today, they were seasoned so well and the chicken was so juicy. The fries that came with the sliders were seasoned as well and v tasty. the photos speak for themselves honestly!! So glad i payed them another visit. The girl at the front is very nice and provides nice service and the owner is a nice guy. This place is located in Plaza Mexico, so if you're looking to make a day trip there, be sure to try this chicken!!

This hot chicken place is in such an unassuming spot I almost couldn't find it. It's located on the second floor of the lively Plaza Mexico. My friends and I essentially ordered the same things but in different combinations. I got Combo #2 in medium spicy which came with a sandwich, tender, and fries. The tender stuffed in the sandwich was juicy with a crispy batter. Oddly enough, despite the deep red color of it being heavily coated in spice, it was not spicy at all for me. I could've definitely gone higher. That said, the tender was the perfect vehicle for the house sauce and it was made even better with the mac and cheese. The fries were also nicely coated in cajun spices with some being crispy and others being flimsy. My friend also got the taco and enjoyed that unique fusion item.

"Give it up forrrr MEAN CHIX!" (Said in the "lets get ready to rumbbleeee" tone of voice of course). Halal chicken spots have been surfacing the streets of Southern California rapidly! MEAN CHIX is on my top 3 list! (Sadly, I've tried more chicken spots than I care to admit). What's my decision based on? *Flavor*. Cauuuse uugh...THIS brown chick's tolerance for heat is surprisingly LOW. This is to say, I don't judge chicken on "how hot" but rather "how flavorful" the mild and medium levels are, this is the true test of flavor for me! This joint does not disappoint! I asked the owner what makes his mild chicken so tasty? He replied, "It's all in my seasoning! I use Lebanese spices too!" Needless to say it's authentic Nashville chicken WITH A TWIST (it does have a fusion taste) but it's good and flavorful. Everyone I know who comes through Mean Chix likes it spicy or extra spicy, but I'm out here ranting about mild and medium, so the "hot" and "extra hot" must be delicious! The fried pickles are on point too (hard to find). The sliders are solid. The "box" is good it comes with a bed of French fries (similar to the type served in middle school) you can get melted cheese on them, your sliders and the pickles, cabbage toppings. The tacos are good, for some reason the last two or three times I've had them they were cold which definitely makes them less enjoyable but my nephew pointed out it might be due to the coleslaw? It would be exciting to see quesadillas on the menu. I bet those would be fire! Btw this is located in plaza Mexico! The quickest way to access the restaurant is the parking lot next to Planet Fitness! Take the escalator up one flight and make a quick left turn! You can't miss it! Walk off your meal by roaming the indoor swap meet if you get a chance! It's authentic to Los Angeles, I love plaza mehicanooo!
